Have you ever found your workspace to lack 'space' around your laptop or pc monitors?

Cluttered Workspace Office Table

This is a solution thought of by a close friend of mine who sketched up an idea and requested that I make it for him. I received a simple drawing for quite a functional project.

This piece of furniture is meant to declutter and optimize the space available on an office desk. It may be a laptop or a pc monitors that would sit on top of the small wooden table while creating a additional workspace underneath for perhaps a keyboard or any other items which require to be accessible.

Most of what I make, I often think beyond the design. Features which render the furniture practical for its use. For example, the Floating Wooden Office Planters, under which I added concealed wheels for easy mobility for when floor cleaning is required or trying out a new place for them around the office.

Another would be the Double Wash Basin Tabletop which, for the purpose of easy installation, I made it into three separate parts.

This particular piece needed to have a subtle feature which might seem insignificant but practical in some ways.

I like when furniture can be either folded in or dismantled and tucked away in a storage for later use. Similarly, I chose to have the legs screwed underneath the tabletop, like those Ikea coffee tables.

Once again, I made use of Pine wood simply because it's easy to work with and often has nice veins and knots natural design.

I used a hardwood though for the legs for sturdiness. All the edges were sanded down smoothly and then I applied a sealer as well as a dark wood stain which, to me, brings out the wood veins.

While taking these shots of the furniture for future website posts purposes, I thought of almost holding onto this one for myself.

That's when you know the product is good for delivery.
